Appearance: Very tall, very muscular, curling horns growing out of the sides of her head, feet have been replaced with goat hooves. Her voice has a strange echoing quality to it.

History: She was a soldier who defended her homeland against the Harps, winged people who had been pushed into the mountains and fiercely hated her people. She took in lots of war orphans because she liked children, so when she found some harp children, she saved them from execution by her own forces, but for her crimes she was banished to the Downside, a hateful and inhospitable land at the base of a massive, impassible cliffside.
There she spent 16 years, slowly being transformed into a demon like creature, before she met up with a band of fellow exiles who had found a way out of the Downside. Through participation in an elaborate tournament known as the Rites of Liberation, they could send one of their number back home. Their leader, a man named Volfred, revealed his ultimate plan of releasing exiles into key positions within the homeland that had exiled them so that they could tear down the current, corrupt regime, and build something new and worthwhile in the ashes.
JUST before they were ready to send the first of their number home, however, Jodariel was whisked away to the land of Spellbind.
Personality: Taciturn, grumpy, judgmental, but ultimately not a bad person. Jodariel will snap at you while also taking care of you. She has a weakspot for children, and also does not know how to read, as literacy was banned in her homeland in an effort to keep the population dumb and complacent.
